Maintenance of Corrugated Cardboard Production Line

● In the case of high temperature, wait for the machine to continue running for about 10 minutes before shutting down. Cutting off all power at high temperatures is not good for the machine. 

● The 6 bearings on the single facer need to add high-temperature grease (liberation oil) once a month (high temperature resistance over 300 cent degrees), which is very important for the daily maintenance of the machine. Remember! In other places, such as chains, ordinary greases are fine.

● Large rolls or heavy-weight rolls should not be placed on the paper holder when they are not working. Heavy loads during static conditions will reduce the life of the machine. You can lay a tray on the floor (because of steam heating, worry about accidental occasional water on the ground), then lay down the roll paper on the tray.

● The cutter is sharpened once every six months, which has a life time of at least three years. Under good maintenance, 5 years will be no problem.

● The glue roller should be cleaned daily.

● If you have orders to do for all day, there is no need to shut down during lunch break. Because it is turned off at that time, the machine is still overheated and the glue would dry out, which was not good for the glue roller. Just remove the layer of corrugated paper and loosen the pressure of the three rolls.

● After teasing off the paper when changing order, wait until the remaining paper has finished running and then slow down.
